Chilly Bits

When: Sunday 27th July, 2025

Don't be alarmed by the name, Chilly Bits is a brand new grass roots event to Bendigo bought to you by Jo Lythgo of the Bendigo MTB Club & Bendigo Cycles with the intention to bring together a community in the coldest, most uncomfortable time of the year, whilst raising money for a cold and uncomfortable subject Suicide.

Loosely inspired by an event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chilly Bits is a scavenger hunt on bikes spanning points across Bendigo.

Designed for all ages, all bikes, all abilities, all genders you can go it alone or in teams of up to 5 (all staying together).

100% of the profits of Chilly Bits will be donated to local suicide prevention & awareness networks in Bendigo.

Initially inspired by Wayne Holdworths story (Wayne, sadly lost his son Mac to suicide in and make people feel a little uncomfortable.  Many of us in our community have been touched by suicide and the pain it leaves behind.

Some of us lucky to still have our loved ones, other not so much.
